The shooting of Sibiraj's next, Ranga, has been completed. Touted to be an action-packed thriller with a social message, the film also stars Nikhila Vimal, last seen in Panjumittai.

The title, inspired by the 1982 Rajinikanth film, is supposedly also a reference to Lord Ranganatha. Shot in Kashmir, the film stars Sathish, Sujatha Babu, Sara, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Renuka and Jeeva Ravi.

With music by Ramjeevan, cinematography by Arvi and editing by Ruben, the film is expected to release early next year. Sibiraj now moves on to his next, Maayon, a fantasy adventure along the lines of Indiana Jones, while Nikhila Vimal awaits the release of her next, the Fahadh Faasil-starrer, Njan Prakashan.
