Shooting of Prabhas' next trilingual begins in Italy

Jil-fame director Radha Krishna’s new film brings actors Prabhas and Pooja Hegde together as the lead pair. Billed as a period love story, the film’s principal shooting commenced today in Italy with the team filming crucial scenes featuring Prabhas and others.

“It's a love story set in 1970s Italy. The 15-day schedule of the film has begun. This will be followed by another schedule in Hyderabad. Pooja, who is shooting for Maharshi, will join the sets of this film on October 4. Prabhas was so bowled over by the script that he agreed to shoot Saaho and this film simultaneously,” says a source.

A trilingual in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, the film will be made on a budget of Rs 150 crore. Being bankrolled by Gopi Krishna Movies and UV Creations, the film is slated for release in the second half of 2019. Amit Trivedi is scoring the music, while director Chandrasekhar Yeleti has provided the story for the film.
