After the success of last year's Mersal, there was much speculation that director Atlee would soon make his debut in Telugu. And now, it's confirmed that the filmmaker will be working with Jr NTR for a project being planned to be made in Telugu and Tamil. 

Said to be a romantic action entertainer, the film will be produced by Ashwini Dutt Chalasani under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. "Keeping the popularity of the actor-director duo in mind, Ashwini is planning to make and release the film in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. While the film will mark the debut of Atlee in Telugu, this will be Jr NTR's second project to be made in Tamil after Rajamouli’s multi-starrer #RRR," informs a source from the production team. 

While the makers are keeping the details of the project under wraps for now, we hear, it also features an actor who is popular in Telugu and Tamil as the female lead. The untitled film will go on floors early in 2020.
