Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi will begin shooting again, after problems between Vadivelu and Shankar, who is producing the film, have been sorted. Reports suggest that the actor will begin shooting for the film in January. 

The sequel to the 2006 comedy hit, Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, again helmed by director Chimbudevan, took off amid great expectations. A huge set was also said to have been created. However, problems allegedly cropped up between Vadivelu and Shankar during the shoot, following which the former is reported to have refused to continue shooting. A complaint was filed by Shankar with the Producers' Council. Now things seem to have been amicably settled. 

According to earlier announcements, Parvathy Omanakuttan was signed to play the female lead in the film.eanwhile, Chimbudevan has another project in the pipeline funded by Venkat Prabhu. It is said that Chimbudevan will begin on that project after completing Pulikesi 24.
