Margot Robbie, who plays Harley Quinn in the DC Extended Universe, has revealed the official title of the upcoming Birds of Prey film and it is Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). The actor shared the title on her Instagram account, and Warner Bros confirmed it via a tweet whilst also announcing that the film will be released on February 7, 2020.

Birds of Prey is a DC comic book series about the titular all-female crime-fighting superhero team. With the film's title reveal, it is expected to pave the way for the change of the villainous Harley Quinn, first introduced in Suicide Squad, into a hero.

Aside from Robbie, the cast includes Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Huntress, and Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya/The Question. Christina Hodson is the screenwriter for the film, which will be directed by Cathy Yan.
