Arya's next film, directed by Mounaguru-fame Santhakumar, has been titled Magamuni. The film, bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green, was launched yesterday. It also stars Mahima Nambiar and Indhuja as the female leads. Slotting his next film into the crime-thriller genre, the director, who is also in-charge of the story, screenplay and dialogues, says, "The screenplay of Magamuni will attract the audience. We are planning to shoot the film in Chennai, Kanchipuram and Erode districts."

Featuring actors like Junior Balaiyya, Jayaprakash, Arul Doss, GM Sundar and Kaali Venkat, Magamuni will have music by SS Thaman and cinematography by Arun Padmanabhan. Arya also has Ameer's Santhana Devan, Suriya's next project directed by KV Anand and Shakti Soundar Rajan's next, in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Studio Green is also producing Sivakarthikeyan's next with director Rajesh, and Prabhudheva's cop film, Thael.
