Having wrapped up a schedule of his upcoming film with KV Anand, Suriya will begin shooting for the last schedule of Nanda Gopalan Kumaran aka NGK this month. Reports suggest that there are only fifteen days of filming left and the female leads, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet, will join the Thaana Serndha Kootam actor in this schedule. Shooting for the film was delayed in the middle due to Selvaraghavan's issues with his health and the TFPC strike.

NGK marks Suriya's first collaboration with Selvaraghavan. The film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. SR Prabhu, the producer, recently apologised to Suriya's fans for not providing frequent updates about the film.
