Prabhu Solomon's next film, Kumki 2, has wrapped up the shooting. Music director Nivas Prasanna of Thegidi fame took to Twitter to announce the news.  

The director, earlier clarified to us that Kumki 2 will not be a sequel, and will revolve around a baby elephant, a small boy and their friendship over the years.

While debutant Mathiazhagan plays the lead, Kalavani Mappillai-fame Aditi Menon stars opposite him in the film that went on floors last year. Kumki 2 also stars Mynaa-fame Susan and Hareesh Peradi in important roles. The shoot of the film began in Thailand in 2017 and was shot in various other places including Siva Samuthiram falls near Mysuru.
