Vedhika to make Bollywood debut through Emraan Hashmi-Jeetu Joseph's The Body

Busy shooting for Raghava Lawrence's horror comedy, Kanchana 3, Vedhika has been confirmed to play the female lead alongside Emraan Hashmi in Drsihyam-fame Jeetu Joseph's Bollywood debut, The Body

The film also marks the Bollywood debut of Vedhika, who has predominantly worked in South Indian films. The actor, who made her debut alongside Arjun in Madrasi in 2006, made eyes turn with her performances in films like Paradesi and Kaaviya Thalaivan. 

She has reportedly been chosen to play the female lead in The Body after several auditions were conducted across the nation. The Muni actor is said to be playing the role of a young and innocent college-going girl in the film. 

Touted to be a suspense thriller, The Body will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal of Azure Entertainment and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
