As per the latest reports, Dileep's next project with Shafi will start rolling in July, with a Christmas release planned. The film, which was announced last year, will be Dileep's next after Kammara Sambhavam. 

The script is penned by Shafi and his brother Rafi. Shafi and Dileep last worked together on Two Countries, which was a major box office success. The Shafi-Rafi combo is known for writing and directing some of Dileep's most popular films. 

Rafi has directed Dileep in Punjabi House and Thenkashipattanam, while Shafi has directed him in Kalyanaraman.
