If there’s someone who is creating a buzz in the Kannada industry, it’s Tanya Hope, who has been raising the bar with every film she signs. Though she's only a few films old, the actor’s already bagged her next big project. Tanya, who has worked with Upendra in Home Minister, and is currently shooting for the Darshan-starrer Yajamana, has been roped in as the lead heroine for Abhishek’s debut, which is titled Amar.

In the film helmed by Nagashekar, she will be working with her friend, Abhishek, which is makes the offer all the more exciting for her. “I have known Abhishek for a while now, and he had been talking about working on a film. I am glad to be a part of his debut,” says Tanya, adding that she was happy to meet his mother, Sumalatha, who came across as a ‘warm’ person.

Director’s take
Nagashekar, who roped in Tanya, has high hopes for the actor. “She is the next big thing in the industry. I wanted somebody who could match Abhishek, who himself is very talented. I am glad to have found the right heroine to star opposite him,” he says.

The film has music by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Satya Hegde. Sania Sardhariya is designing the costumes for the lead actors. Made under Sandesh Productions, Amar will officially be launched on May 28 with a simple puja, followed by a grand launch event in the presence of celebrities.
