In a recent interaction with a news channel, Kamal Haasan had revealed that his upcoming film, Indian 2 will deal with the current political scene in the country.

Recently, the actor-politician was addressing a group of college students and he had said, “I can't do Anbe Sivam today. If I did, I'd have court cases. Again, I can't do a Varumayin Niram Sigappu now, I will have to face problems. Who knows? They may even create problems for Indian 2!"

That statement was received well amidst thunderous applause from the students.

Buzz also has it that director Shankar will start work on Indian 2 as soon as Kamal is done with his Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 commitments. The makers plan to start the shoot next month at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Indian 2 has experienced writers Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu, and Lakshmi Saravanakumar jointly penning the dialogues.
