The first collaboration of Suriya and Selvaraghavan, NGK, is progressing at a brisk pace and the crew wrapped up the second schedule recently. According to a source, the filming of the third schedule is all set to begin soon in Karaikudi.

The Yuvan Shankar Raja musical is said to be a socio-political thriller and Suriya will be seen in a new getup in this film. SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures is bankrolling the film, which has Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet playing the female leads. The film was initially announced as a Diwali release, but after the delay caused by the TFPC strike, it is now doubtful if it will hit the screens as promised.

After wrapping NGK, Suriya will start working on his next with KV Anand. Apart from this, the actor has a film with Irudhi Sutru-director Sudha Kongara.
