GV Prakash, who has a slew of acting projects including Semma, 4G, Sarvam Thaala Mayam and Kuppathu Raja, has started composing music for an untitled project starring Suriya in the lead. According to sources, this film will begin rolling later this year. 

A picture of the composer along with Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame was doing the rounds on Internet. The Suriya-starrer is speculated to be a period film directed by the filmmaker. However, official confirmation is awaited. 

Suriya is currently busy shooting for Selvaraghavan's NGK. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film is slated for release this Diwali. Up next, he has KV Anand's film, bankrolled by Lyca Productions, which also stars Mohanlal and Allu Sirish in pivotal roles.
