CE Features

Sivakarthikeyan has a busy line-up of films such as Seema Raja, and untitled projects with directors R Ravikumar and Rajesh, but that hasn't stopped him from venturing into other aspects of filmmaking. The actor recently launched his own production banner and the first look of the cricket-based film starring Aishwarya Rajesh and directed by Arunraja Kamaraj will be released tomorrow.

Now, it's known that he has turned lyricist for Nayanthara's upcoming film Kolamavu Kokila. The film's music director Anirudh, who has composed music for most of Sivakarthikeyan's films, took to Twitter and released a video in which he announced the news. With the first single already out, the second, Kalyana Vayasu, written by Sivakarthikeyan will be released on Thursday.

Incidentally, Nayanthara, who was last seen in the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Velaikkaran, will also collaborate with the actor on the Rajesh project. Kolamavu Kokila, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is bankrolled by Lyca Productions, and also stars Saranya Ponvannan, Yogi Babu, Nisha and Jacqueline.
