Last seen as the time travelling musician duo twenty-seven years ago, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, are back together to play Bill and Tedd one more time in Bill & Ted: Face the Music, the third instalment of the franchise.

The first film of the sci-fi comedy, Bill & Ted's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was released in 1989, followed by a direct sequel called Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey after two years. The story was also adapted to the small screen in the form of an animated and live action series.

Keanu Reeves, who delivered a blockbuster with his John Wick series films, and Alex Winter seems to have given a nod for the film as they found the new script written by the original creators Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon to be really engaging and interesting.  Dean Parisot of Red 2 fame will be helming the project.

Bill & Ted: Face the Music produced by Steven Soderbergh and Scott Kroopf will also see Bill Sadler returning to reprise his role as Death. The story of the film tracks how the middle-aged heroes save the world and balance their relationship with their family in parallel.
