CE Features

After making heads turn with her unique performances in films like Ethir Neechal, Mundasupatti, and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Nandita Swetha is once again set to play an unusual role for a heroine. The actor, who was last seen in the recently released Kaathirupor Pattiyal, will be starring as the mother of a seven-year-old boy in an upcoming film, titled Narmada.

The film, which deals with the mother-son relationship, is helmed by Geetha Rajput, a former assistant of Bala. Nandita is said to have lost a lot of weight for the challenging role and Master Renesh, who will be playing her son in the film, is said to be undertaking acting lessons.

The family drama also stars Vijay Vasanth and MS Bhaskar in important roles. The shoot of Narmada is set to begin on May 15, and it will be shot in and around Chennai, Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, and Hyderabad.
