The makers of Imaikka Nodigal are planning to host a trailer and audio launch event by the second week of this month. Cameo Films, producers of the Nayanthara-starrer, confirmed this in an official statement. The press release also stated that the team is busy with final touches on the CG work and sound mixing arrangements. 

Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of De Monte Colony fame, the film has been majorly shot in live locations across Chennai and Bengaluru over the course of 90 days. 

The film has Anurag Kashyap playing the baddie, and this marks his acting debut in Tamil cinema. The cast also includes Raashi Khanna, Atharvaa and Vijay Sethupathi.
