Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (CCV) created a buzz right from the moment the interesting cast of the film, comprising Aravind Swami, Jyotika, Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh and Aditi Rao Hydari, was announced. 

Recently, Santhosh Sivan, the cinematographer of the film, shared a photograph of the male leads--Aravind Swami, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi and Arun Vijay--on the sets. Following that, a few days ago, a photo of Simbu feeding Vijay Sethupathi during the shoot has gone viral on social media, much to the delight of the fans of both actors. 

It is notable that Vijay Sethupathi has previously worked with the STR's father, T Rajhenderr in the 2017 film, Kavan. 

CVV is said to be Simbu's comeback film, as his previous film Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan bombed at the box office and was mired in controversies.
