We reported some time ago that Sivakarthikeyan had signed a comedy film under the direction of Siva Manasula Shakthi-fame Rajesh. The project, bankrolled by Studio Green Gnanavel Raja and co-starring Sathish, went on floors today.

It was earlier speculated that Nayanthara would join hands with the actor once again after their recent success with Velaikkaran or that Sai Pallavi might be roped in for the romantic comedy. However, though the shooting of the film has begun, the makers are yet to disclose the female lead of the film.

Apart from this untitled film, Sivakarthikeyan also has Seema Raja, where he stars opposite Samantha for the first time, and director Ravikumar's science fiction, co-starring Rakul Preeth, in different stages of production.
