Rajinikanth-Karthik Subbaraj film to kickstart in a month 

The film is touted to be a political thriller and it is bankrolled by Sun Pictures

With Sun Pictures announcing that Vijay Sethupathi will be playing an important role in the upcoming Rajinikanth-Karthik Subbaraj project, expectation of the film has gone sky high. It is said that Superstar who has gone for a short medical trip to the United States will be back soon and start shooting for the film either by the end of this month or the first week of June.

Sources state that the actor has allocated forty days for the film and the director plans to wrap the project within this year. While it has been confirmed that Anirudh Ravichander will be composing for the music for the film, the makers are yet to disclose the rest of the cast and crew. 

Meanwhile, Rajini will next be seen in Ranjith's the gangster drama, Kaala. The audio launch of the film is set to happen on May 9 and the film is slated for worldwide release on June 7.
