Yogi Babu, who rose to fame following his comic performances in Maan Karate (2014) and Yaamirukka Bayamey (2014), has progressed to a point where he is working in about 35 Tamil projects simultaneously.

While industry insiders claim that this is the second highest record held by any actor working in Kollywood (after Vadivelu), the comedian is all set to hit an important milestone in his career -- the hundred movie mark. The fact that his 100th film will be Ajith Kumar's Viswasam (for which the actor will start shooting next week) makes it all the more special.

Yogi Babu recently took to Twitter to announce this interesting tid-bit. "I'm happy to reveal this news on the prestigious day of Ajith sir's birthday. My 100th movie is Viswasam," he tweeted.

The comedian who was seen sharing screen space with Vijay in Mersal, will also play an important role in Vijay's 62th film, which is being directed by AR Muruagadoss.
