Express Features

Last seen in Gemini Ganeshanum Suruli Raajanum, Atharvaa will be seen sporting three different looks for his upcoming film, Boomerang, to be directed by R Kannan of Kanden Kadhalai fame.

Award-winning make-up artists Preetisheel Singh and Mark Troy D'Souza, who have worked in films like Padmaavat and 102 Not Out, have been roped in to create the new looks of Atharvaa. Talking about this, Kannan said in a statement, "Preetisheel Singh and Mark Troy D’Souza have spent more than twelve hours to get the right looks for him. A special kind of dough was applied to get his cast, and he had to stay in the same position for five hours. His breathing became difficult and a tiny tube was attached to his nose to make it easy for him.”

He also added that “Atharvaa felt happy and excited as he is experiencing this for the first time in a film.”

Said to be an action thriller, Boomerang marks the return of Upen Patel to Tamil cinema as an antagonist, after 2015's I. The film also stars Megha Akash, RJ Balaji, and Suhasini Mani Ratnam in crucial roles. The music of the film is by Radhan of Arjun Reddy fame and Prasanna S Kumar is in charge of the cinematography.
