The official Telugu remake of the 2014's Bollywood film 2 States went on floors today. Adivi Sesh of Kshanam fame and actor Rajasekhar's daughter Shivani will be reprising the roles of Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the original. 
 
The film will be directed by Debutante Venkat Reddy and Temper-fame Anup Rubens will be helming the music. The makers have reportedly retained the same title for the Telugu version. 

The shooting of the film officially commenced today in Hyderabad and the function was graced by famous directors like  SS Rajamouli, K.Raghavendra Rao, VV Vinayak, and many others.
