It was speculated earlier this week that the Malayalam sensation Priya Varrier, who rose to fame through her expressions in a song in the film Oru Adaar Love, will star opposite to Suriya in his upcoming movie with KV Anand. But it has come to light now that the news is just a rumour, and the makers are still on the lookout for the female lead. 

The film marks the third association of the actor and director duo, who have previously worked together on Ayan (2009) and Maattrraan (2012). The yet-to-be-titled film will have music by Harris Jeyaraj and cinematography by Jigarthanda fame-Gavemic U Ary. According to sources, makers are currently scouting locations for the film which will be shot in Delhi, New York, Brazil, and Hyderabad.
