Heroines shy away from Nagarjuna-Nani film

It is said that, due to the unsatisfactory remuneration offered by the makers, no actor has signed on to play either of the female leads in the film

When everyone is looking forward to hearing exciting updates about the multi-starrer featuring Nagarjuna and Nani in the lead, the film is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. A source in the industry says that none of the star heroines seem interested to work in the film owing to remuneration issues.

“The makers have approached over a dozen heroines including Trisha, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Amala Paul, Raashi Khanna, Shraddha Srinath, Rashmika Mandanna and Megha Akash, for the female lead roles. But none of the actors are satisfied with the remuneration offered by the makers, and much to the dismay of the makers, no one has agreed to sign on the dotted line, despite liking the story,” says the source.

With less than a week to go before the start of the principal shooting, it appears that the makers are still struggling to find female leads to star opposite Nagarjuna and Nani, two of the most-sought-after stars of Tollywood.

When we tried to reach out to the film’s director Sriram Adittya for clarification, he remained unavailable for comment.
