The first schedule of Yajamana, starring Darshan, a Pon Kumar directorial, which went on floors on February 18, was completed on March 10. Actors Rashmika Mandanna, Tanya Hope, Dhananjay, Thakur Anoop Singh, and Devaraj took part in the filming that took place over three weeks on a huge set erected in Mysuru.

The film, produced by Shylaja Nag and B Suresha, created hype with its title, which it shares with Vishnuvardhan’s blockbuster film from 2000.

The second schedule is now being planned, and will most likely begin after Ugadi. Yajamana which has dialogues written by Chethan Kumar and cinematography by Shreesha Kuduvalli, will have music by V Harikrishna.
