Sharwanand’s next gets a title

Express Features

Actor Sharwanand’s new film, whose shoot commenced in Kolkata recently, has been titled Padi Padi Leche Manasu. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film’s title and first look poster were unveiled by the film's makers yesterday, to coincide with the Mahanubhavudu actor’s birthday.

Interestingly, the film’s title is a spin on Chiranjeevi’s chartbuster song Padaharella Vayasu from Lankeswarudu. In the first look, Sharwa is seen sitting while having chai in a clay cup.

According to a source, the actor will be seen in a dual role as a 25-year-old youngster and as a 45-year-old middle-aged man. He will be sporting a ponytail for the youngster’s role and has reportedly shed 10 kilos to look the part.

Touted to be a romedy, the film is being bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Prasad Chukkapalli under SLV Cinemas banner. Sai Pallavi, who is on a roll with back-to-back hits, is playing the female lead, while Vishal Chandrasekhar is scoring the music for the film.
