Renowned actor Rahman, last seen in Telugu cinema in Janatha Garage, has started shooting for an untitled space-adventure on Tuesday. Starring Varun Tej, Aditi Rao Hydari and Lavanya Tripathi, the film is being directed by Sankalp Reddy of Ghazi fame.

“Rahman will be seen as the director of the space centre and its one of the pivotal roles in the film. The ongoing schedule will last for 10 days in a specially constructed satellite ground station. After this, we are planning to release film’s title and first look in mid-July,” says Y Rajeev Reddy, the producer of the film.

Varun and Aditi Rao play astronauts in the film and we hear, the duo had undergone a 3D scanning and special training to experience the zero gravity environment. The makers are planning to wrap up the shooting by August and release the film around Dussera.

Gnanasekhar is the film's cinematographer, while Prashanth R Vihari is in charge of the music.
