Pooja Hegde started shooting for her new film starring Mahesh Babu at Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, on June 18. The current schedule will go on until July 6 and we hear the team is determined to wrap up major portions of the first half during this period.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Pooja plays a video game developer in the action drama dubbed as Mahesh 25. “Pooja will be seen as a programmer in a software company that develops the latest video games. She is thrilled to play a role that has depth and substance in the film,” says a source.

Mahesh plays a millionaire and he will sport two distinct looks as a college goer and a farmer in the film. Also featuring Prakash Raj and Allari Naresh in pivotal roles, the untitled film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and is expected to hit the screens next summer.
