Tamil music director Sam CS, the man behind the memorable background score of the Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Vikram Vedha, is making his Malayalam debut with Mohanlal's Odiyan.

Through a Youtube video, the Kerala-born composer expressed his admiration for the grand scale of the film and praised director Shrikumar Menon for his efforts. He went on to add that Odiyan will take Malayalam cinema to another level.

Also starring Prakash Raj, Manju Warrier, Manoj Joshi, Innocent and Siddique, the film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
