After Mahanati, the next most-awaited biopic is YSR, starring Mammootty in the eponymous role of late Andhra Chief Minister YS Rajashekara Reddy. The latest report is that Suhasini has been approached to play an important role in the film. She will play the role of Sabitha Indra Reddy, former Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh and a close ally of YSR.

Suhasini and Mammootty have been part of some popular classics in Malayalam such as Rakkuyilin Ragasadassil, Koodevide, and Ente Upasana.

Shooting of YSR began this week with Mammootty confirming the news via his social media handles. The film marks Mammootty's return to Telugu cinema after a gap of 25 years. Mahi V Raghav of Anando Brahma and Paathshala fame is directing the film.
