Srimurali's next Bharaate picked from 43 titles

It took 43 titles before the title of Sriimurali’s next was finalised. The team of the film, directed by Chethan Kumar, went through several rounds of discussions before zeroing in on Bharaate. The actor himself took to social media on Thursday to announce the film’s title, which has been well received by fans so far. “It’s a rare title. Bharaate also goes with the film’s content, a family drama with love, action and  emotion. All these makes it a good entertainer,” says Chethan.

Much like Bollywood director Karan Johar, who swears by the letter K for the success of his films, Chetan’s lucky letter seems to be B. His latest film is following the trend of his first two – Bahaddhur and Bharjari – which also began with B. “B stands for blockbuster. Any title should bring in positive vibes, and thankfully, we were able to come up with a good name, which was unanimously approved by the team, and began with a B,” says the director.

The Sriimurali-starrer will have financier and distributor, Supreeth on board as producer. Although a first-time producer, Supreeth has financed more than 12 films, and was the distributor of Bharjari under Kiran Enterprises.
