Young and upcoming actor, Sreeleela seems to be the right person at the right place and time. The actor, who is set to make her debut with AP Arjun’s KISS, has been getting opportunities to work in some big-ticket projects even as her first film is yet to be released.
As reported earlier, Sreeleela has bagged a lead role in Sriimurali's next, directed by Chethan Kumar, which is likely to start sometime in August. The latest buzz is that the youngster will be paired opposite Dhruva Sarja in Nanda Kishore’s Pogaru. According to our sources, the first schedule of Pogaru, which went on floors in March, has been completed. The team shot school portions with Dhruva Sarja in this schedule, for which the actor lost 30 kilos.
The makers are now waiting for Dhruva to regain weight and get back to his normal physique. “In the meanwhile, they have been looking for a heroine, and Sreeleela seems to fit the bill,” sources say.
An initial round of discussion is done and the young actor has supposedly given the nod. Now, it is just a matter of some paper work and signing the dotted line before the Pogaru team makes an official announcement. The second schedule of the film is likely to begin from the first week of July.
Pogaru, produced by BK Gangadhar, also has Ravi Shankar as part of its cast, with music by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Vaidhi.
