The launch of Abhishek’s debut, Amar, took place on May 28. Now, the makers are all set to begin shooting exactly a month later, on June 28. A racetrack is being set up in Coimbatore, and by the end of this month, Abhishek and Tanya Hope (who plays the female lead), will be joining the sets.

Amar features the debutant as a bike racer, who is gearing up to participate in an international racing competition. Apparently, the director  has been consulting with an international racing team, and the track has been created accordingly. The team, who will be shooting for 40 days continuously, will be traveling from Coimbatore to Mysuru, followed by Mangaluru, Shakaleshpur and Madikere, with short breaks in between. The team has chosen Scotland as their shoot destination outside India.

Chikkanna and Sadhu Kokila will be joining the first schedule. The makers have approached various actors to play important characters, and the rest of the cast will be finalised soon.

Amar, made under Sandesh Productions, has music by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Satya Hegde.
