Joe Robert Cole, who co-wrote the Marvel super hit Black Panther, has signed on to make his directorial debut for Netflix with a crime drama film titled All Day and a Night.

Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson, who produced Netflix's award winning The People v. O.J. Simpson, will be producing this film via their Color Force banner.  They will be teaming up with the producer of Netflix's The Punisher, Jared Ian Goldman.

Following on from Failsafe, a Vault comics title that he will be writing and producing, this is Cole's second Netflix deal.

All Day and a Night is a story that features a set of three parallel narratives which follow a young criminal, who after arriving in a prison, looks back at his childhood and finds clues for his survival.
