It’s dubbing time for Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

CE Features

The makers of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (CCV) started dubbing work for the film this week. Arun Vijay, who is part of the cast, confirmed this on Twitter by posting a picture from the studios.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jyothika and Aditi Rao Hydari, among others. The film will also be dubbed and released in Telugu as Nawab.

Sources say the filmmaker wants to finish the post-production work before next month and send the film to censors. Produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, the film is scheduled for release in September. It has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Santosh Sivan.

Rumours are rife that the film might focus on the industrial revolution. However, there’s no official confirmation of this.
