After giving back-to-back box office hits with Addhuri, Bahadhur and Bharjari, Dhruva Sarja is currently the darling of filmmakers. The actor, who is shooting for Pogaru, directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by Gangdhar, also has another project lined up with producer Uday Mehta.

And now, he has bagged his sixth film. While there were reports of Jaggu Dada director and producer, Raghavendra Hegde being in discussions with the actor, sources inform that the two are indeed coming together and have even finalised a script.

“The director is also investing in the film, and this will likely be the first project to begin in 2019. Dhruva will kick-start the film from January next year, just after he completes his other two commitments,” say our sources.

The romantic drama Jaggu Dada, starring Darshan, was Raghavendra Hegde’s debut in Kannada. The Dhruva-starrer will be his second outing in the industry, and the director is said to have an interesting plot line, which is now getting ready. The filmmaker is also busy with the small screen and is the creative head and director of Kannada serials, like the popular Shani and the recent Mahakali.
