Dhananjay to begin shooting for bilingual produced by Ram Gopal Varma

A Sharadhaa

Dhananjay made quite an impact with his character Daali in Tagaru, gaining praise from the audience as well as those in the film industry. So much so that Ram Gopal Varma has confirmed him as the lead in a project to be made under his banner. It was reported that the actor had met the filmmaker a few weeks ago and discussions were on about collaborating a project.

According to our sources, and going by the latest development, the film will be a bilingual, made in Kannada and Telugu. The project, made under Raashi Combines in association with Ram Gopal Varma’s banner, will be helmed by Siddharth, who has been an associate of RGV for a long time. It will be the director's first full length film and he will also be part of the bilingual as a creative head. Sources say the shooting will begin from June 15.

Bhairava Geetha is among the few titles being considered by the makers, though nothing has been finalised. The bilingual will have a village theme, a subject relevant to both the states,” the source reveals, adding that the film will be completed by July 30.

An official announcement about the project will be made on June 21, when the production house plans to release the first look. “This bilingual will definitely be a leap for Dhananjay, especially in the Telugu industry,” the source adds.

The actor is also concentrating on his next film Suri Popcorn Monkey Tiger, helmed by Tagaru director, Suri.
