Karthi has once again taken the rural route for his upcoming film Kadaikutty Singam, directed by Pandiraj. The audio of the D Imman musical, starring Sayyesshaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female leads, was launched yesterday. Speaking at the event, Karthi said, “I never expected to act in a film produced by my brother. This is our first film together and I am extremely happy to be part of his production. We’ll definitely act together in a film very soon.” Suriya, who shared the stage with Karthi, also promised the same. Karthi went on to add, “Kadaikutty Singam has 29 major characters and Pandiraj sir has crafted all of them well. The film carries the message that all the youngsters of this generation should start farming and return to their roots.” Apart from Kadaikutty Singam, Karthi also has Dev, in his kitty.
