Udhayanidhi's film with Karthik and Jayaram dropped?

Gopinath Rajendran

We had previously reported that debutant director Enoc, an erstwhile associate of Atlee, would be collaborating with Udhayanidhi Stalin for a film, also starring veteran actors Karthik and Jayaram. Recently, many news websites cited that the film had been dropped due to creative differences between the director and producer. But talking to CE, Enoc says, "Though it's true that we're no longer working with the producer we had originally intended to, the project is still on. We're currently on the lookout for a new producer. The talks are on and will be finalised soon. Once we confirm the producers, we'll officially announce when the film will go on floors."

Said to be a rom-com different from what Udhay has done till date, the film stars Priya Bhavani Shankar and Indhuja who made their onscreen debuts together in last year’s romantic musical, Meyaadha Maan. Santhakumar, an associate of George C Williams, will handle the cinematography.
