Permission denied for Mahesh 25 shoot

CE Features

The first schedule of Mahesh Babu’s new film, commonly called Mahesh 25, was supposed to take place from June 10 to June 25 in Dehradun. According to a source, the team has been denied permission to shoot in the city due to security issues.

“The city is hosting the International Yoga Day programme on June 21 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending it. Keeping the protocol and security concerns in mind, the Army has raised an objection and the team has failed to obtain permission from the authorities concerned to shoot in a city college. With permission hard to come by, the team has now rescheduled the proceedings to commence from June 17. Until then they will shoot some other portions of the film in the outskirts of Dehradun,” says the source.

Produced by Aswini Dutt and Dil Raju, the film also stars Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh in pivotal roles. Buzz has it that Mahesh will be seen in two shades--as an NRI and a farmer--in the film, with one being a bearded look .
