Actor Sree Vishnu’s new film to be directed by Vivek Athreya of Mental Madhilo fame consists of an ensemble cast. After getting Satyadev on board, the team has roped in actor Nivetha Thomas for a pivotal role in the film.

“The story has a new element which Nivetha’s role is going to bring. She is not the heroine in the film, but plays an important role which is no less than Vishnu’s. The makers were convinced that only she could do justice to the character and signed her,” says a source.

Billed to be a crime-comedy, the film is being produced by M Vijay Kumar under Manyam Productions. The principal shooting of the film will commence later this month.

Meanwhile, Nivetha has started shooting for her next release, a suspense thriller also starring Kalyan Ram and Shalini Pandey.
