The second schedule of Prabhu Solomon's trilingual Kaadan (Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi and Aranya in Telugu), has been wrapped up. The film is being simultaneously shot in all three languages with slight variations in the cast for each language -- Rana Daggubati, Zoya Hussein and Kalki Koechlin will appear in all the three versions, while Vishnu Vishal will star in Tamil and Telugu, and Pulkit Samrat in the Hindi version.

The film, based on the relationship between a man and his elephant, is neither a sequel to the director's Kumki nor a remake of the 1971 Rajesh Khanna film, Haathi Mere Saathi.

Talking about the film, which is extensively shot in Thailand and Kerala, Prabhu Solomon says, "The movie brings me back to one of my favourite subjects -- elephants. Shooting with them in the wild has been a fascinating adventure and we are very excited to share it with the audience."

The music of the film is by October-fame Shantanu Moitra, while Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty is in charge of the sound design.
