Kichcha Sudeep promotes Phailwaan in an innovative way

A Sharadhaa

Sudeep has always managed to generate an interest among audiences before release of his films. For director S Krishna’s upcoming film, Phailwaan, he had managed to get a conversation going around his boxer look and now with the 'phailwaan' pose the actor, along with the team, is creating a trend.

The actor’s latest tweet read:

The post shows him along with the crew members and technicians posing like a phailwaan. His earlier tweet reads:

Krishna says, “It was the last shot taken on the sets of the film, during the schedule in Chennai. Usually, people who come to the sets take a photo with a smile, but those visiting Phailwaan sets sportingly posed like one. A couple of cricketers, including KC Cariappa, who visited the sets to meet Sudeep, were excited about posing in the style of a boxer. And the trend is catching on with Sudeep's fans.”

Back from Chennai, the team continues shooting in Bengaluru from today and this schedule, which will go on for the next 12 days, will have the hero and heroine, Aakanksha Singh, participating in the shoot. Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty will be joining the sets from July for the Hyderabad leg of shooting, for which huge sets have been created.

Interestingly, Phailwaan will see Sudeep in two shades. “It is too early to reveal details about his character. While one portion of the film, currently being shot, has him sporting a lean look, the other portion will see him well-built. He has been working out to get the muscled look for the last three months,” says the director.

Phailwaan also features Kabir Duhan Singh, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh, Sharath Lohithashwa and Avinash. The film has music by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Karunakar.
