Last seen donning the role of a cop in Bala's Naachiyaar, Jyotika is collaborating once again with Radha Mohan on Kaatrin Mozhi, in which she will be seen playing the role of a housewife-turned-RJ. The official Tamil remake of Vidya Balan's Tumhari Sulu went on floors yesterday. The film's launch was attended by the principal cast and crew, as well as Suriya and Sivakumar.

Kaatrin Mozhi is Radha Mohan and Jyotika's second film together after the highly successful Mozhi in 2007. Myna-fame Vidhaarth and Telugu actor Lakshmi Manchu, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Kadal, will be playing the roles of Jyotika's husband and the radio station head, respectively.

Bankrolled by Bofta Media Works, the film will be shot in a single schedule and is expected to be released on October.
