According to our sources, Vishal's next project will be directed by Lakhsman, who earlier made Romeo Juliet and Bogan. Although the film is currently in pre-production, no official announcement has been made by the makers yet. 

Vishal, who recently had one of the biggest hits of his career in Irumbu Thirai, is expected to begin shooting for this yet-to-be-tiled film after wrapping up the final shoot schedule of his 25th film, Sandakozhi 2. A sequel to his 2005 blockbuster, Sandakozhi 2 features the actor in a dual role as father and son. While Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead, Rajkiran, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Soori are part of the supporting cast. The film, which began production in September 2017, is expected to hit the screens on October 18 in time for the Ayudha Pooja weekend.
