Vinayakan roped in for Kismath director's next

Kismath director Shanavas K Bavakkutty has cast Vinayakan in his next. The shooting will commence in the last week of August in Kochi, as per Shanavas. The title and other details are expected to be revealed soon.

While a fresh face will be playing the female lead, Manoj K Jayan, Pauly Valsan, Koode-fame Roshan Mathew, Kochupreman and others are part of the supporting cast. Francis Noronha has conceived the story and P S Rafeeq has penned the screenplay.

Kismath was Shanavas' debut film and told the story of two star-crossed lovers, a Muslim boy and a Hindu Dalit girl, played by Shane Nigam and Shruthy Menon, respectively. Vinay Forrt played a cop in the film.

Meanwhile, Vinayakan has also signed Leela Santosh's Karinthandan, which is based on the life of a mythical tribal legend.
