Ragini Dwivedi's first look in The Terrorist revealed

CE Features

Director PC Shekar has just completed the shoot of The Terrorist, which stars Ragini Dwivedi. The film’s first look was revealed by ‘Rebel Star’ Ambareesh today.

Shekar says he has made sure that Ragini's portrayal is as authentic as possible. “My idea was that she shouldn’t look anything like what she has in her previous films. Secondly, this film is about a Muslim girl, Reshma and her family, and also about terrorism. There are two kinds of terrorists - people who are directly involved, and second, those affected by it. The latter, even though innocent, are victims of their circumstances. A lot of research has gone into the film,” he adds.

Why was Ragini considered for the project? “In society, and in the film, women are the ones mostly affected in such situations. They have to go through a lot of pain. It’s this pain that I thought Ragini will be best able to bring out,” he explains.

The film’s music is by S Pradeep Varma, who has previously assisted Arjun Janya and V Sridhar, while the cinematography is by Murali Krish.
