The shooting of Radha Mohan's Kaatrin Mozhi was wrapped up on Saturday and the makers revealed yesterday that the film will hit the screens on October 18, which also happens to be the birthday of the film's lead actor, Jyotika. It is the official Tamil remake of Vidya Balan's Hindi film, Tumhari Sulu

The film, which went on floors on June 4, has been shot at a fast pace and the entire shooting has been completed within two months. The dubbing will commence on August 6.

Also starring Lakshmi Manchu and Vidharth, the film was recently in the news for Simbu's special appearance. Jyotika and Simbu are also a part of Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and the two starred opposite each other in Manmadhan and Saravana

Produced by Dhananjayan under his banner BOFTA Media Works, Kaatrin Mozhi is expected to get its censor certification towards the end of August. The film will face off against Vishal's Sandakozhi 2 at the box office on October 18.
